Great language school. I’ve studied Spanish here 20 years ago, it was a pleasant surprise finding the school during a trip to Malaga last weekend. I spent an amazing time with my husband studying Spanish at CILE. Everything was very well organized and the staff was really helpful. The classes were dynamic and we did a huge progres in Spanish. I can highly recommend the school.

I studied at Academia CILE in Malaga for 3 months in total between January and May 2018. I started at level A1 and was at level B1 when I left after 3 months of study. I will say that my 3 months of study made me able to use Spanish whenever I am in Spain now. However, learning Spanish is not a sprint, but more like a marathon. I returned for 1 week this year to see if I had maintained what I had learned and maybe if I had improved anything. I was not disappointed this time either, I had a great week and went out with some of the teachers for some beers, a great way of learning Spanish.
The reason for selecting CILE to learn Spanish was primarily the price and location. The school is located next to the cathedral and close to the beach, Malagueta. I chose the Super Intensive course II which gives you 20 group lessons and 10 private lessons per week (a lesson is 45 minutes). I can absolutely recommend you to take this course because having private lessons is really effective for you learning. It's up to you how you want to use your private lessons, so I changed my private lessons as I progressed in my learning and my needs changed.
The teachers, other staff and the owner of the school are all really nice. I went out with other students and several of the teachers many times during my stay at the school. I will recommend you to try to socialize with the local people and maybe use less time on homework if you have to prioritize. I used some of my private lessons to do homework, because then I could explain to my teacher how I was resonating and get feedback on what was correct or not.
I had different teachers during my stay at CILE, which I think is a good thing. Each teacher is different than the others, but all the teachers at CILE are great teachers and nice persons.
I can absolutely recommend CILE as your school for learning spanish. Just remember to have a positive attitude, make sure you have fun while learning spanish and don't be afraid of practicing it in the local community of Malaga.
I will keep going back to Malaga and CILE in the future too!

Experienced and very nice teachers, small groups and lessons only in Spanish. Very pleasant, family atmosphere at school. CILE is in the centre of Malaga, right next to the cathedral, so you can enjoy the city life during the break and afer the course. The Malagueta beach is very close to the school, about 10-15 min walking. Good place to learn Spanish in Malaga!
I was at CILE for 2 months and it was amazing. The teachers and staff were super helpful, friendly and are always there to answer any questions. I really enjoyed having the classes in the morning and early afternoon, so by 1:30pm we were finished and we still had the whole afternoon to explore Málaga. One of the best parts of the school is it´s location, its situated in the center of Málaga and it´s right next to the Cathedral and Alcazaba. What I loved most was the small size of classes, we were a max of 8 students at one time, sometimes even less and we became a little family and went everywhere together. We had to practice spanish a lot because we were all from different countries and our only common language was spanish even if we all started at the basic level, already after 1 week of being at the school and being with the people, you “grasp” the language. I would love to come back to this school again. Highly recommend it!
