We were a cool group of three young women who came from Germany and Poland to learn A2 level.
The school looks cool from inside. It has modern technology available and it has A/C in the class rooms. There is an elevator.

I think a wheelchair would fit into the elevator. There are toilets on every floor. They are clean and modern. I didn’t check all of them, but two were not wheelchair accessible.
I very much liked both profesoras that I had. I’ve never spoken much spanish and Elena really gets you to talk easily and a lot.
Lots of fun learning spanish with both teachers. Great teachers here, as what I have heard from others too.
You get the book they work with on the first day. You can also book trips and salsa classes with the school. I can recommend them, especially on saturdays the whole day trips.
The staff is super friendly, competent and helpful. They answered all my previous and current questions quick and with solutions.
I wanted an accommodation in the center, and wow I got one! So lucky. Liked it. The Accommodation didn’t have any A/C, but I knew that when I booked. It doesn’t matter to me.
They also teach german at this school.
One girl had done the A1 (learning spanish) course in four weeks. She spoke more and knew more then me, who had been in evening classes for 4 years. So it works great!

AIFP is a modern school with excellent teachers. It's also very close to the city center. I was very satisfied with my learning! If you want to improve your spanish, this is the place to go to.
Teachers are very nice, always ready to help you and answer all kinds of questions. A lot of gramma lessons but never boring and classes are only in Spanish (my level A2) and I consider this as a great advantage. Recommend this Academia in 100% !
I took classes at Academia AIFP in Malaga for two weeks. I had a great learning experience there. I had been learning Spanish via audio course (Pimsleur) for about 10-12 months prior. I was speaking a little bit of Spanish before I joined, but understanding what other people spoke was a big difficulty. These classes helped tremendously with that, as well as with grammar and speaking with less hesitation.
The classes were completely in Spanish (the teachers tried to avoid English as much as possible) and that was really helpful to get comfortable with Spanish. The teachers were very supportive and understanding. I had Noelia and Paula as teacher most of the time, but what I heard from other friends is that other teachers are awesome too. The teachers tried to explain the same concept multiple times using different words of Spanish instead of switching to English, which really helped.
Some other comments:
- The checkin process was very easy. I had decided at the last minute to join the school, and the admin folks helped me tremendously to get started on time (thanks Burcu).
- The school also hosts various classes in the evening (dance e.g.), Malaga city excursions on Friday (as one of the class), and other social activities. They also suggest other Spanish activities around town (e.g., movie screenings). All these resources were very helpful for me.
- When I wanted to work more on improving my "understanding what is spoken" part, teacher suggested various videos for my level which helped me improve faster.
In short, I got way more out of the two weeks than I had expected. Thanks to the school staff and teachers.
I would highly recommend this place if you want to dive in and accelerate your Spanish learning!
I loved it at AIFP!! The teachers are fun & professional and you can learn a lot of things from them outside the topics of the course. I enjoyed a lot both private and group classes as they are so interactive and full of information. My main goal was to prepare for DELE C1 and I can say my Spanish level improved a lot during the month I took at the centre, not to mention being in Málaga hearing Spanish everywhere really helps! You just feel at home and get to earn so much knowledge of the culture(they have activities several times a week) and the language :)
