I stayed 3 months at Linguaschools and had the best experience in Barcelona. The school itself is beautiful, the professors are great, and I met great people through the school. They also had fun activities planned each week and weekend which I enjoyed very much
I studied Spanish at this school in late summer last year. I booked the 20 hour group course plus 5 private lessons. As I was really happy with the course, I am planning to come back in May to continue working on my Spanish. There are three main factors that contributed to a great learning experience. Firstly, the teachers are great and motivated. As the teachers tend to change sometimes, there is also a variation in different teaching styles. Secondly, the location of the school is very practical. The building is also nice and has a cool roof terrace. Thirdly, the other students were nice, from different countries and fun to talk to. I would recommend this school to anyone staying in Barcelona.
Lovely teachers, staff, EVERYTHING. Just one tiny suggestion. I know the accommodations are managed by a different company, but it might be good to set some standards for the occupants and make sure that things are more obvious for foreigners who are not accustomed to the recycling system etc. It would also be nice if they took complaints a bit more seriously and were not afraid to take action. I've lived in an old, fat, alcoholic man's garage which had a more pleasant ambiance.
The best teachers! I have done 4 semesters with Linguaschools. My teacher Laura was very engaging and always brought energy to the class even though it is at the end of my work day. She continuously designed creative activities to engage us in speaking in a variety of ways.
Thank you Anna & Marta and all wonderful staff in the school. Special thanks to Julia for the activities. I'll be back for sure and my next review will be written in Spanish :)
