There are...
I completed a six-week intensive course and am very satisfied with the school. The organization and the teachers are top notch. The wishes of the individual students are well taken into account. I was taught a lot of new things and was able to benefit greatly.
There are almost daily extracurricular activities, sometimes these cost something and some are free.
The rooms are not very modern, the ones in the basement are a bit cold and dark, but otherwise great!
I had very good experiences at the alpha-b language school in summer 2023. With a few exceptions, all the teachers here are very friendly and if something wasn't right, you could easily raise it and take immediate action. My teacher in the normal course, i.e. in the morning, was Delphine. She is really a great teacher who has just the right amount of rigor, humor and empathy to give effective yet fun lessons. She's also just great as a person. Compared to other teachers at school, she was also able to help out in English in an emergency if you didn't know something. My only wish for improvement would be that the intensive course would be divided into an easy and difficult course in the afternoon, so as a relatively inexperienced student I felt very intimidated by those who had mastered C1 or higher, especially at the beginning. All in all, I had a good experience and would recommend the school at any time.

My professor, Delphine, was amazing. She was helpful, understanding and was able to explain things in class with clarity! I learnt more in one week with Delphine than I have at other schools around the world where I've attended class much longer.

Super language school with very competent, motivated and friendly teachers. Lots of variety in the courses, focus is on speaking, understanding, consolidating grammar and vocabulary. You learn a lot in a very short time and speak fluently. Clear recommendation!
